Modelling GWP of milk production using technical efficiency indicators.&nbsp;<em>Italian Journal of Animal Science<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>22<\/em> (Supplement 1), 156-157. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Commissioned research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Service contract with Societ\u00e0 I Marzoli s.r.l.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Evaluation of the environmental impact of diets for dairy cattle, for beef cattle and for digesters with and without the use of beer grains. The environmental impact assessment will be carried out using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method, an analysis method widely used by the scientific community as one of the main methods for assessing the environmental impact of processes and products, including the agricultural sector. HEAD: Prof. Maddalena Zucali<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">AGRIDIGIT project \u2013 PLF4MILK subproject<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of the consultancy was collaboration in carrying out research activities for the study of vocalizations in dairy cattle breeding at the Baroncina experimental agricultural company of CREA-ZA, as part of the strategic project Mi.P.A.A.F. \u201cAGRIDIGIT\u201d &#8211; \u201cPLF4MILK\u201d subproject. HEAD: Professors Sandrucci and Mattiello<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-vivid-green-cyan-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\">Research collaborations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enea: Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arcadia project &#8211; the Italian LCA Database: what opportunities for businesses, public administration and research<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2020, our research group has been collaborating with some Enea researchers, sharing the data used for the LCA evaluation of farm-gate milk production, with the aim of creating a database of Italian products that allow a more precise and local LCA evaluation .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further information on the ARCADIA project can be found here and on the Italian LCA database<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitus.it\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Tuscia<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been collaborating on the evaluation of enviornmental sustainability and envionmental impact of dairy farms with Prof. Silvio Franco<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been collaborating with the research group of Prof. Andrea Vitali for studing a semplified way for environmental impact assessment of milk production.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Conventions UNIMI-ANAFIBJ Since 2022, a productive agreement for scientific collaboration has been underway between our research group and the National Association of Friesian, Brown and Jersey Italian breeders (ANAFIBJ).
